Open Letter to our Clients, former and future

Hello,

We have had to close our doors as of January 30^th due to the uncertain economic climate. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused our former and future clients. Hopefully we will be able to reopen in the near future. Thank you for understanding. In the meantime you can follow my blogs as the websites will remain up but we will NOT be taking any orders. I do NOT have access to a commercial kitchen and the state of Florida prohibits the sale of food not prepared in a commercial, inspected and licensed kitchen.

Translation:

It is illegal for anyone to cook or bake foods at home for sale.

Introducing:

A little background on me

While pursuing a Baking and Pastry Degree at Johnson and Wales University I was inspired by one of the many quotes hanging on the University hallway walls that stated: "ALWAYS SIGN YOUR WORK WITH EXCELLENCE" This embodies my work ethic and committment to Customer Service.

I have been accused of being a "CONTROL FREAK" because ALL the work was/is done by me, using only the finest ingredients available; From baking and decorating the cakes to folding the delivery boxes is all done by me! But how else can I make sure that the work was/is "Signed with Excellence" if I didn't have a part of making your cake?

I also do not do "COOKIE CUTTER" cake designs, your cake is YOUR cake; Designed for you and you alone, I may copy some of the cakes elements, but always changing something about them. This is the reason why I am very selective in the customers I serve. I maintain a quota and refuse to go over that quota because I know that I will not be at my best to serve my customer.

So let me create something completely unique for you, any design element on your wedding dress, like color, lace, beading or Tying the Wedding Theme into your cake, we can do it for you!

Right now I am persuing some teaching opportunities while I look for a new position, as I feel I can be an asset to someone because I am so passionate about what I do.
